Poltronova will take part in the new exhibition curated by Giulio Cappellini during the London Design Festival 2019

Hosted at Saatchi Gallery during the annual London Design Festival, I-MADE is the first London exhibition solely dedicated to Italian innovation and design curated by the renowned designer Giulio Cappellini. I-MADE will present an extensive selection of Italian brands and designers showcasing Italian innovation and craftsmanship, as well as drawing on the passion and traditions of iconic Italian brands.

Poltronova is present at Saatchi Gallery with Ettore Sottsass’s Ultrafragola mirror/lamp; the Superstudio’s Passiflora lamp; Archizoom Associati’s Sanremo lamp and Mies armchair.

In the context of “Take a seat” —satellite exhibition— is hosted De Pas, D’Urbino and Lomazzi’s iconic armchair Joe. In the exhibition “Souvenir Italia” also Superstudio’s Ofelia frame is present.

These objects are expressed in a language that identifies and reconnects with barely mediated, irrational and ancestral sentiments that continue to drive their success.

Centro Studi Poltronova stands out today not only as a manufacturer, but also as a historical archive that contains and preserves a unique heritage of designs, images and projects.
